Driving Directions and parking: The airport is located 66km (41 miles) south-east of Oslo, off the E6 at Rygge. There are five car parks at the airport (P1, P3, P10, P11 and P12), including long and short term, and outdoor economy parking. The car parks are all located within walking distance of the terminal.

Car Rental: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt all have desks in the Arrivals area.

Public Transport. Rail: Regional trains serve Rygge from and to Oslo central station with frequent departures throughout the day. Trains from Halden and Fredrikstad run every hour. The train station is located 4km (2.5 miles) from the terminal, and free shuttle buses carry passengers to the airport during operating hours. Bus/Coach: Rygge-Ekspressen operates services from and to Oslo (tel: 177, www.rygge-ekspressen.no) while Flybuss Rygge (tel: 95 95 20 10, www.flybussrygge.no/flybussen/), links local towns like Fredrikstad, Moss, Son and Indre Østfold with the airport. Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport. The taxi station is located just outside the terminal building.

Airport Facilities. Money and communications: There are two ATMs in arrival/check inn area on the ground floor of the terminal, as well as one ATM on the first floor opposite to the duty-free shop. Fax/photocopying is available at the information desk, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. Eating and drinking: There are kiosks selling food and drinks and newspapers in the check-in area on the ground floor, and in the departure area on the first floor. Shopping: Duty-free shopping is available in both Departures and Arrivals. Luggage: Trolleys are available free of charge. For lost and found objects call 69 23 01 01. Other facilities: There is an information desk in the Arrivals hall.

Hotels: There are no hotels on site. There is a small hotel in Rygge, but your best bet is to spend the night in either Moss or Fredrikstad. In Moss try Mitt Hotell (tel: 69 25 77 77, www.mitt-hotell.no), or Moss Hotel (tel: 69 20 24 00, www.moss-hotel.no). In Fredrikstad the Quality Hotel (formerly Radisson) (tel: 69 39 30 00, www.qualityinn.com) is a good bet, or try the Rica City Hotel (tel: 69 38 56 00, www.ricacityhotel.no).
