Well, it has to be said that I’ve had some ups and downs with this Norwegian Christmas speciality, The Pinnekjøtt. Once upon a time (back in the 1990’s) I was invited to a nice and relaxed party at one of my colleges’ home. Here I was lucky to experience Pinnekjøtt from it’s sunnier side. While at a more businesslike meeting in a hotel somewhere in Ostfold, we (me and some colleges) really struggled with The Pinnekjøtt. To eat a friendly dinner should not be some kind of war, but this dinner was.
